Choose us as your assessment therapist. We specialize in numerous forms of psychological and neuropsychological testing and evaluations, including:
Psychological Testing for Adults
We offer psychological evaluations for adults, both in person at our Pasadena office and online throughout California. Previous clients have noted that our evaluations are thorough, trauma-informed, and culturally responsive.
ADHD Evaluation
If you think you have ADHD, we can help you understand yourself better. We offer holistic ADHD evaluations for adults, helping clarify attention and executive functioning challenges. Our assessments deliver accurate diagnosis, personalized insights, and practical recommendations for support and growth.
Autism Evaluation
We provide compassionate, neurodiversity-affirming adult autism assessments in Pasadena and online across California. Our assessments are comprehensive and honor autism as a neurotype (not a “deficit”). Regardless of assessment outcome, we offer clarity, validation, and guidance.
High-Stakes Testing Evaluation
If you are preparing for an important licensing exam (e.g., MCAT, LSAT, GRE, GMAT, USMLE, or Bar exam) and suspect a condition may be negatively impacting your performance, our assessments provide detailed documentation and informed recommendations for accommodations. FAQs
Here are some of the most frequently asked questions about our psychological assessments. If you have any more concerns or queries, feel free to reach out to us.
What is a psychological assessment?
A psychological assessment is a structured evaluation that uses clinical interviews, standardized tests, and behavioral analysis to better understand your thinking patterns, emotions, attention, and overall functioning. It helps clarify diagnoses and guide treatment or support options. Psychological assessments also provide you with the data needed to advocate for accommodations in specific settings, such as at school or work.
How do I know if I need an ADHD or autism evaluation?
You may benefit from an evaluation if you experience ongoing challenges such as difficulty focusing, disorganization, sensory sensitivities, social communication differences, or feeling “different” in how you process information. Many clients seek assessment for clarity after years of uncertainty.
What is included in a psychological assessment?
Our assessments are designed to give you a clear and complete understanding of your experiences. This typically involves a clinical interview, standardized psychological testing, a review of relevant history, and careful analysis by our licensed assessment psychologists. Afterward, you will receive a detailed report and will participate in a “feedback session,” which is essentially a meeting where we walk you through the results. We also use the feedback session time to explain the next steps and answer any questions you have.
What exams can your evaluations support?
Our evaluations can support accommodation requests for a wide range of exams. We conduct evaluations for students and professionals seeking accommodations for school, college, graduate programs, licensure, or in the workplace.
Exams we can provide accommodations requests for include high school and college entrance exams such as the SAT, ACT, PSAT, and GED, as well as graduate and professional exams such as the GRE, GMAT, LSAT, MCAT, EPPP, Bar Exam, and CPA Exam.
Because each exam has its own requirements, we always recommend reviewing the documentation guidelines for the specific test you are applying for. Our goal is to provide a thorough, thoughtful evaluation that clearly explains your needs and offers recommendations that are clinically appropriate and aligned with the testing organization’s expectations.
How far in advance should I schedule a high-stakes evaluation?
It’s best to schedule as early as possible, ideally several months before your exam or accommodation deadline. This allows enough time for testing, report preparation, and any submission requirements.
