We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Psychological Associate to join our team. This position is ideal for pre-licensed clinicians passionate about working collaboratively in a supportive and growth-oriented environment. Job Summary:
The Psychological Associate will provide individual, couples, and/or group therapy using evidence-based and creative modalities. This role also offers the opportunity to gain supervised experience in psychological and neuropsychological assessment, including participation in test administration, scoring, and report writing.
The position emphasizes empowering clients to live values-driven lives while supporting the associate in acquiring hours toward licensure and developing the clinical, assessment, and entrepreneurial skills necessary for success in private practice.
This full-time role is ideal for clinicians who value collaboration, learning, creativity, and professional growth within a supportive team environment.
Psychological Associate Requirements:
Completion of a license-eligible doctoral degree in psychology (e.g., PsyD, PhD) or at least 3 years of experience in a doctoral program
Build and maintain a caseload averaging 20+ clinical therapy hours per week. If participating in psychological or neuropsychological assessment, testing administration, and report writing time will count toward weekly clinical hour expectations. In these cases, the required number of therapy hours may be adjusted proportionally to reflect the time commitment of active testing cases.
Conduct consultation calls with prospective clients and outcome conversations with current clients.
Participate in weekly individual supervision with Dr. Mary Kate Roohan.
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in our electronic health record system.

Clinical Skills and Professional Development
Proficiency or interest in evidence-based therapies (i.e., DBT, ACT, EMDR, drama therapy).
Strong diagnostic, assessment, and treatment planning abilities.
Approach cases from a culturally responsive, anti-racist, and neurodiversity affirmative lens.
Commitment to continuing education and professional advancement.
Administrative Skills
Accurate clinical documentation using electronic health records.
Time management to maintain a caseload of 20+ clinical hours/week.
Familiarity with HIPAA compliance and ethical standards.
Entrepreneurial Skills
Interest in private practice operations (marketing, SEO, website development).
Compensation and Benefits
Compensation: 50/50 fee split based on therapy session rates ranging from $100-$250 per session; 50/50 fee split based on assessment session rates ranging from $2,000-$5,500.
Entrepreneurial Support: Training in private practice fundamentals, including marketing strategies, SEO, and website development, to prepare you for building your own practice.
Training and Supervision: Weekly one-on-one supervision with Dr. Mary Kate Roohan, including the integration of creative arts and evidence-based therapies.
Continuing Education Stipend: Annual stipend for CEUs or professional development.
Flexible Schedule: Clinicians set their own hours and may work up to 100% remotely (if in the telehealth Psychological Associate role).
Option to Launch Your Own Practice: Upon licensure, you will have the option to open up your practice and take your clients with you, ensuring a seamless transition into your own private practice.
